About The Training Program on Ayurvedic Lifestyle
Ayurveda is the ancient science of life which has come to us from the Indian subcontinent. It teaches how to live a long healthy life and how to cure the diseased. Thus, it is a traditional medical science based mainly on herbal remedies, diet prescriptions and purification measures, and equal importance is given to maintaining good health and preventing diseases. 

Will enable you to understand the basic concepts and principles of Ayurveda which are important in your daily life. You learn about your body type, healthy food habits, what to eat according to your body type, what makes you sick and how to keep yourself and your family healthy through the day and all the seasons and how to prepare simple home remedies. During the class, herbal teas, a herbal decoction and a medicated oil will be prepared.

The concept of Three Doshas – the physiological and pathological factors of the body: Vata, Pitta, Kapha
Body types based on Dosha predominance
Mental types based on Tri Guna – Sattva, Rajas, Tamas
Cause – Symptoms – Cure, how diseases occur and how they get cured
The six tastes and their effect on the body
Agni – the digestive fire
Ama – toxic matter due to improper digestion
Who is considered as healthy
Principles of healthy nutrition
Daily regimen
Concept of natural urges which should not be suppressed
Seasonal regimen
Healthy sleep and healthy s***ual life
Basic principles of Ayurvedic pharmacology, properties and effect of some commonly used herbs
Ayurvedic herbal preparations
Massage oils for each body type
Panchakarma – the five basic Aurvedic procedures
Rasayana – rejuvenating therapies
